goldfeathers	6:45p	[artpost xxii] I love looking back over this journal. In the amount of time I've had it, I've improved. How cool is that?! Onwards and upwards, say I. Anyway, this is a collection of things I've mostly done at work. Clinics have slow moments, and if all the condom boxes are packed and full (hurr), then I get about sixty seconds to myself to draw something on the torn off wing of a condom box, or the reverse of an appointment slip. There's some things here that are from my formal sketchbook, too. That'd be the porn. I drew a nice werewolf on the back of something, but I can't find it now. I think it's in my pigeonhole. So you'll get that next time, maybe. I've also been drawing a lot of gift art, which you don't get to see, because I don't like to post gift art unless I have the explicit permission of the person for whom it was drawn. I don't know. I'm weird. Anyway! Enough from me! I have wang to throw at you! ( Wasting office supplies and also some porn. [+11, NSFW] ) Okay now I have to take drugs to make the cold that has robbed me of hearing in my right ear go away. German cabaret artist, Hagen Rether, spends his 2007 New Year's appearance on television in Germany ranting eloquently and perfectly about Islamophobia in the German media. First, this is salient and needed saying. Immediately in the shadow of the Swiss minaret ban, but also in the wider context of the demonisation of Islam across, well. We have one hell of a lot over here, don't we? Secondly, I can't get over how fucking beautifully he speaks while quite visibly livid. Thirdly, I fancy him into the next fucking century.
